Wedding and Reception: Clover Forest Plantation

April 19th was a beautiful day in every sense of the word. The weather could not have been better, and Rebecca and her family are some of the nicest people I have met. Southern charm.... I have had a great time getting to know this fantastic couple. Brian and his friends had fun on the golf course on Friday, and I photographed the rehearsal dinner at Princess Anne Country Club. Surprisingly, I don't photograph a lot at Princess Anne. My wife's uncle is in the first flight for club champion almost every year though. I met the girls at Wink salon in Hilltop. What a cool and retro place... They did a fantastic job on Rebecca's hair, and Michael met us at Rebecca's parents' house for makeup. The southern food selection began early, and it was topped off with a cake made especially for Rebecca which had 27 layers of chocolate. We made our way to Kempsville Baptist for the beautiful ceremony. After the ceremony, the limo took Rebecca and family to the Cavalier Yacht Club. I am very fond of the Yacht Club, and being close to the water taking pictures is something special. They are always prepared for large events and have everything so dialed in there. Rebecca and Brian, you guys are nothing short of fantastic, and I am sure you enjoyed your midnight boat departure... Enjoy Jamaica and pick me up some old Steel Pulse... ha ha.
